Looks like I am joining the C - club....

Well here is the latest update. They got all of the cancerous tissue - yay!!!

Out of 28 nodes, they found one to be cancerous, boo. I will be meeting the radiation oncolgists in a few weeks...sigh...some chemo and possible radiation just to eradicate anything left.

Well the first of 4 chemo sessions began yesterday. If the movie Click were real, this would be the one time I would like to advance my life 12 weeks. Yeah I would miss out on the other days but from that 3-4 hour experience, you could say I would not want to repeat it. Sigh....

Trying to stay positive through it all.

I feel for you, brother. Hang in there and know that you have plenty of support, and that getting through and past the treatment will be a whole new life.

Now, for the not-so-important part: How the hell did I miss this news until now?

Probably because I don't visit as often as I used to?

Sorry for the bad news, but it sounds like they got everything at a good time. The current actions and plans are all what they should be.

Got my first scope a few weeks ago, a few years too late. Everything was clean, but I was terrified given various cancer history in my family. None of it colorectal, but cancer gives no shit about history or logic.

Glad to hear things are going well. Take care of yourself and focus on all the good things in your life. And do all the stuff you've been wanting to do.

Health update - Just got my 3rd Chemo (3 of 4) Infusion yesterday. This 3rd cycle has been alot better than the first two so far. I still get exhasted and mentally between 45-50% stable. During my first cycle I became the Crypt keeper and was about 4-5% coherent. I am 5' -11" on good days and 5' - 10" in the evening. Before all of this began, I was 210-213 depending on the time of day. Because of this adventure, I am 194-197lbs once again dependant on the time of day. Prior to all of this my target was 185. Getting there but not the way it should be done.

During my good week (non chemo meds), I was functioning about 75-80% and I was able to shop, drive and get around normally. Now I back to being a useless human for a few weeks aka: eat, sleep and crap like an animal.

I do not wish this on anyone.

Stay healthy Weinerville!!!

Time and Health we all tend to forget until it is part of your later time in life.
