The 6 string bass I picked up from the pawn shop in December wasn't working for me. And my fingers were getting tied up with some of the parts I had to learn. So I stopped by CME this afternoon to try one of these. Everything is just so much easier to play. Since I needed to be in the CME area tonight, I traded in the LTD 6 string and got this. Now I have to relearn the parts for 8 songs on this by Wednesday night. I have some work to do.

Oh... My...

That matches my CME FSR Jaguar and it's GORGEOUS!!!

OK, so first tip is that the strings Fender/Squier ships those with is a tad on the lighter end and the low E gets a bit funky with intonation. LaBella's Bass VI set is awesome and I got the CME version on mine.

You should go post that on OffsetGuitars.com. There's some peeps on there that will be particularly jealous. You might notice that my posts also say "Administrator" over there. :bacon: What started with offering to help with email issues turned into me ending up kinda running the place.

This thing is changing my life. Things that I found tricky on a 4 or 5 string are so much easier. IDK why I didn't switch to one of these before.
