That may have actually been the worst thing to happen to Beato. He was convinced that he was not good enough to even have David Gilmour's people answer his call and tell him no let alone Gilmour actually show up and talk to him (although I'm pretty much convinced that Gilmour will talk to anybody about guitars and music from the king all the way down to the guy at the pub wishing he had a few more dollars to get a Ram's Head BMP reissue).
His ego is probably super inflated, now.

Stealing Your Riffs
I like some of Beato’s content. But, there is plenty of it that I do not watch. Some, I try to watch, but shut off.
I’ll probably never understand all the butthurt related to various content creators. I watch some things and ignore others. It doesn’t seem that difficult to avoid things I don’t like. The closest I come to animosity is with Mason and Vertex content. Yet, he’s never screwed me over, personally, so it’s probably a bit irrational on my part.

Trust boomer Beato to totally miss the point and direct his bullshit take towards people miming on popular music tv shows. No shit Sherlock we know Wes Montgomery mimed to music he recorded. We know this happened all the time in popular music, we've watched TOTP. The point wasn't Giacomo Turra was miming to a prior take and we therefore weren't seeing him play it in real-time, it was that he stole other people's work (songs and arrangements), passed them off as his own, did not give credit to those artists, and brazenly sold other people's transcriptions.
Oh, and accepting custom guitars then selling them immediately.

A tongue-in-cheek approachI wonder if someone could carve out a niche as a content critic? I like the idea better than content creator. Instead of trying to come up with new ideas for content each week, you could simply prey upon those who've already created content with critiques of their work.
