I don't post here anymore, but I sometimes accidentally click on the main update link which shows posts that have activity. I just wanted to break my radio silence and express my condolences. You sound like you are a wonderful son and gave your mother great comfort at the end of her time on this...
I will strive to provide you with less information and context in the future. I'm used to typing currency codes and conversions a billion times a year at work, and habits are hard to shake.
The Bora was super cool, and it maybe isn't super clear in the picture but you could eat off the engine of that thing. Talk about a clean and recent restoration.
Beer and Italian car day at Ace Cafe in Luzern. I brought my Ferrari and got to park up front. Just a sampling of some of the cars at the event, it was an open thing so cars came and went, and there was beer so I didn’t capture everything. I wanted to take the Lancia rally car home.
I wonder if this is at my local dealer being fixed. Last year when I was there they had five F40's in the parking lot. I think a lot of people with vintage Ferraris go there for restoration and other type work. This one looks like it needs a lot, and I suspect a lot of it involves remaking parts...
I like the look of it, but I do not need a multi sound pickup in the bridge and nothing in the neck. Maybe with 2 p-Rails, or two of anything really, it would be more appealing. As it is now seems like shrill, shriller, shrillest.
Um, thanks, I'm going to go put on my Van Hagar records and skin suit. Remember, no one is allowed in the locked office, especially when dad is in there working. No matter what you hear, you are not allowed to enter the locked office.
For perspective, my Gibson Historic Memphis 1963 VOS ES-330 with a Bigsby cost less new than that Epiphone with the fancy Beatles paint. I'd much rather have the Gibson over that Casino.
