    Not guitar books, Jazz Improvisation by David Baker. Charlie Parker Omnibook, transcribed solos of Charlie Parker. Currently using the Ticket to Improv series of DVDs by Robert Conti.

    Scales, chord tones, licks or all of it when it comes to improvising?

    I think about key centers, and transitions, licks and empty my mind of theory and concentrate on on the improvised line.
