    Congratulations and enjoy! I got rid of my convertible last year. It just wasn't conducive to northern New England roads (potholes). I will miss it, though. Nothing wrong with a midlife crisis mobile.

    Different magnetic fields with different pickups

    Sorry to sound daft, but what does that mean? The fields all look pretty similar to me, or am I supposed to be looking at the (what I assume to be) iron filings? And I don't see a HB example. Please explain.

    Nice! I looked long and hard at PRS' guitar with the built in piezo system last time I was shopping. Unfortunately, nobody had one in stock to try out, so I passed. I'd love to revisit it some day.

    I'm starting to think I might have a problem... Muhle Glashutte SAR Rescue Timer. The "Mack Daddy" of tool watches. If you're not familiar with this brand, they're worth checking out. These days, I gravitate more towards German watches vs Swiss.

    Broke this one out yesterday. Ball StormChaser. The way it works is you start the chronograph when you see lightning flash. Then you stop the chronograph when you hear the thunder clap. The hand lines up on a number on the Telemeter bezel ring. That number is how far away the storm is in km. I...
