Dang - that is a seriously beautiful guitar and usually do not like flamed tops much. And you absolutely nailed the burst finish. Guitars just don't look much better than that ever.
 
Uh, nothing personal, but isn't this really just spam? Ultimately, you're just fishing for clients with this thread.
 
I like it enough. Oddly since I usually hate cherry burst on quilt.

Okay, not quite quilt, but quilty flame. ish.

Psychotronic, I understand why you could have interpreted the thread that way and I'm sorry about that. I was really hoping that this thread wouldn't come off that way. This guitar is mine, it is not for sale, and I did not post price/cost. I built this guitar specifically for myself and it took a while as spare time was a luxury I really didn't have. I was just so glad to get it done and be able to plug in and jam. This is why I posted pics. It was more of a pride thing.

I have followed most of the Hot or Not threads and NGD threads it's apparent that price comes up often as a major factor, something I could never compete with and will never compete with, so I wouldn't try to fish for clients here as most would just say "next please". Just figured people on the forum like gear/guitars as much as I do and would enjoy some pics and new stuff. I love Reverends (awesome guitars at killer prices), Strats, and LPs and really like when members post pics of new stuff.

On a side note, there's a thread about pickups that has pricing info posted by the builder in the Guitars, Guitars, Guitars section of the forum which is more like spam.

I kind of see it that way too. It was my posting about Isaacs' instruments that lead him here in the first place and unlike other builders who have braved the waters here he understands (from reading the posts here) that this is not really his target demographic but has been hanging out and posting about guitars anyway. I'd love for this to become a place where the smaller builders could feel comfortable to hang out and contribute to the community here and as long as no one is posting price lists with their first post on the forum I'm OK with that.
 
Yeah, it's really not possible to spam this board with a guitar that costs more than 700 bucks. We're immune
 
As far as i'm concerned, you can post pics of guitars that look like that all day long.
