So Robert Plant's singing to my 3 year old niece........no shit time!

I'm not sure Mark's ever kicked anyone off the board.....but I've only been here a couple of years, so I can't say for......wait a minute.......

oh, yeah,,,,,THAT guy.........

but he REALLY had it coming.

We don't bite. Much.

Well good for Robert. I guess.

Weird on Iggy (he always looked like he never had a day of fun in his life anyway).

Scout is the youngest of the Willis/Moore progeny correct? I think she's legally of age though.

Cool!...Rob's a very nice guy by all accounts, my brother met him in a pub in London some years ago..just having a pint and chatting with some friends. He was completely down to earth and friendly.

I don't know.

That was a couple of years ago......because I asked if Demi was there and he said unfortunately no. It was Bruce and a couple of the kids. Bruce tipped him $100.

He did say one morning he went out surfing and ended up hanging out/surfing with Flea and Anthony Keidis, but that also was a couple of years ago.

Quite the life for a guy with a master's in philosophy.

Hangs out, gives surfing lessons and keeps up a hotel where rock stars stay.....geez.

UPDATE:

'Robert Plant was there with a "27 year old-ish" female singer who was from Nashville and famous in her own right, apparently.....I had no idea who she was.'

'Roger Daltrey was standoff-ish. Kept to himself, but really didn't have much nice to say about anything.'

'Iggy pop was an asshole. He's really short. I didn't know this, but one of his legs is significantly shorter than the other and he wears one of those corrective shoes......I never knew that!'

All 3 stayed in the same room, about 2 weeks apart.

Went down about 2 months ago. RP signed in under an assumed name.

He said RP was the coolest guy ever. Hung out, chatted, said he was always singing and humming.......

I got no autographs......,

(but there is a CC receipt floating around, so I hear.......)

And there you have it.

Straight from the horses' mouth.

Thanks for the update. I take back the asshat remark lol. Sounds like he was a good boy after all :)

That's really great that he was so cool. I've heard lots of good things about him.

Also, thanks for all the welcomes to the board! I just recently inherited my grandpa's Gibson from the 70's so I've been very inspired to start learning how to play. I'm having a devil of a time breaking my hold from my days with the violin though. Any suggestions?

start a thread in the String Theory section about it.

You know...you could always rock that Gibson Jimmy Page style with a violin bow.....

Just saying.

Keeping it real and all.....you know, keeping it true to the post and junk. On Topic and stuff.....

And, uh, .....Brylee.......

You're not the girl in question, are you?

Surely, I can't be the only one who wondered this?

ROFL!!! No! I'm just a fan who stumbled upon your post. Sorry, I'm a researcher by trade and I sometimes get stuck in the "give me all the facts" mode. Works well for work but makes me come across a bit insane at times lol

I'm not even going to attempt to sound like Jimmy, but it'd be a real shame not to attempt to use that guitar how it was intended.

I have no facts.

I have second hand stories I am giving here, so that makes them third hand.

(Wait, can you have a THIRD-Hand story? I don't think so.....but anyway, carrying on)......

Welcome to our madeness!

All I know is RP sang to my neice. And it was cool.

The End.
