I'm sorry to say it, but I don't think I can pull it off this year. The money thing just ain't right for it.
I've had to take 3 unscheduled trips over the past few months, we've got another coming up in late August for a wedding, I'm about to drop a grand on the latest home improvement project, and we're buying a business. It's just too much.
I will be there in spirit, and I make a solemn vow that next year, I will get my ticket far in advance and be ready to rock.

Two weeks from today, at this precise moment, I'll be on final approach to land in Detroit (Rock City....) and barely two hours away from landing in Charleston.
I think i'll be able to finagle a way to go and keep my job.
