Yngwie J. Malmsteen - 'I own a mansion and a (bunch of) Ferrari(s)

Jbird

Kick Henry Jackassowski

So this is Yngwie's bluesier direction he's going in?

What's next? Guest soloing on Mark's next blues album? :)

The drums and keys are terrible in that song. There’s no build and release... every bar is dut a dut a dut a dut adut a dut adut a dut adut a dut a... like the crescendo at the end, but never goes up or down from there. Wow, he really needs someone with him to say “your guitar playing is good on this... but the song is crap. Period.”

Did he inherit his wealth? Because there’s no way he got that rich playing decades of club gigs and only one album that cracked the US top 40 in sales. Or does being famous in Japan pay that well?

Have you ever had a student bring in a mid-90s "Jam with the Band!" type book with CD (or... cassette?!) and you just realized it was a Band In The Box arrangements with some really dated and shitty guitar tones?

Well, I'll listen to that before I'll listen to this shit again.

Ah yes, everyone remembers Yngwie's humble start as a 1940s Chicago bluesman. Thank goodness he is going back to his roots.

1. Blue Lightning
2. Foxey Lady
3. Demon’s Eye
4. 1911 Strut
5. Blue Jean Blues
6. Purple Haze
7. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
8. Sun’s Up Top’s Down
9. Peace, Please
10. Paint It Black
11. Smoke On The Water
12. Forever Man

Paint it Black, Demon's Eye, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and Smoke on the Water are not blues... Forever Man is Crapton but not one of his blues numbers.

I think this is just his answer to the Teal Album. Ironically he is probably making this album for quick cash to make car payments.

Seriously, that’s the song list?

I’d rather be deaf.
