Mojo Request Possible/probable major setback

Ok, so it's a good news/bad news type deal.
Turns out I DID NOT tear the tendon that was bisected for my surgery, nor did I do any (known) damage to any of the surgically repaired areas.
I DID tear the Flexor Carpi Radialis RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO IT. We know it's torn, we don't know how bad. Another Gawddammed MRI will determine that. That will make SIX times in an MRI machine in 12 months.
For now, I can wear my brace, and just not do anything that aggrevates it. Certain types of motion are off the table. I "should" still be able to play guitar but that remains to be seen since I have not yet tried. Gripping the neck and applying pressure on the frets could prove very painful.
Apparently, it snapped so hard (now is the time anyone with a weak stomach for gruesome stuff should stop reading)...
It tore off a chunk of bone and launched it up near the base of my thumb a few inches away. We know this because it's plain as day on today's x-ray and wasn't there when we did the surgery follow up x-ray.
According to my Surgeon, who is fantastic, the injury is "completely unrelated" to my surgery and is just a freak occurrence.
How freak?
Well, if it was a Spontaneous Rupture, it will be the FOURTH Documented case known. There are only 8 known cases in total, each one either followed a Carpal Tunnel Surgery (which I did not have), or presented in patients that had a history of Trapezoidal Osteoarthritis (that's totally my gig yo!)
Anyway, it's not a big deal. That tendon is often removed completely to treat chronic tendonitis without any real impact. Whatever we end up having to do with it shouldn't be too bad. Shouldn't.
Of course that chunk of bone probably has to get dug out.
Leave it to OGG to have the dumbest of dumb luck once again.
