I have never listened to them much myself so I had to consult my local expert - my wife.

She said Hello Nasty.

Paul's Boutique is really awesome. I can respect it for what it did.

But it'll always be overshadowed by License to Ill for me, because of nostalgia mostly.

So, 'back in the 90's' ... there was a publicity company called Nasty Little Man. (For all I know, there still is). It was helmed by friends of the Beastie Boys. One of these friends had, shall we say, a pattern of hiring young, cute Asian women.

One of the most bewildering hires was a receptionist who knew very, very little English. But geez, was she cute.

And when you would call NLM (which the Beastie Boys did, bcos among other clients NLM repped Grand Royal the label AND magazine), she would pick up the phone and sing-say "Hello, Nasty!" and then cheerfully forward your call to a random recipient, who would then actually forward your call to the correct extension.

And so that's how the album got it's title.

I am a child of the 80s and 90s. I have no idea which Beastie Boys songs are on which albums because I have never heard them except on the radio. So I guess whichever album Sabotage is on.
