about putting the dirt pedal in the cookie monster snack bowl.

Well, I wasn't.

It functions, but it needs work.

The LEDs don't light up.

It affects the signal when engaged but I'm not sure it's working quite right.
I get a volume drop when engaged and the volume control is maxed. If I dial it down, it the sound disappears about halfway through the sweep.
I think I just need a different pot for the volume and perhaps a different resistor to set the base volume level.

It's a Whisker Biscuit board from runoffgroove.com and is a Big Muff Pi clone.

So, I've got some work to do on it yet before I do any demos.

I have more boards so I might just build another and bench test and tweak it. Then put it in the bowl.

It was a fun build though. I had the afternoon to myself and I just sat down and started putting it all together.

I would think you would need to reinforce the lid; what did you come up with? Any shielding/grounding issues with the non-metallic "box"?

I sealed the openings with glue, got it level and poured envirotex in it up to the threads.
It worked out great.

No issues with noise so far, but I'm not getting a lot of gain out of it yet.

Nice! I love the SuperBee style logo on the boost too.

Thanks!
That was my first build.

The boost is there because the furry cookie had such low output.

I tired the boost on both sides. That just happened to be when I took the picture.
I'm not sure what worked better. I'm going to keep playing with it for a bit.
