Who knew Monoprice sold guitars?

I was on the Monoprice.com website doing some cable shopping and came across these.

I'm sure they're on par with most of the other sub $100 Chinese imports, but according to Monoprice
Before it gets shipped to you, each Monoprice guitar undergoes a setup, tuning, and inspection process by Master Luthier Roger Gresco here in Southern California. The setup ensures that the neck is straight, the action is right, and that it will stay in tune.

The strats are $90 and the LPs are around $130. Looks like a bolt-on neck for the LPs...hard to tell from the photos. They all come with a gig bag too.

It looks like they have a booth at NAMM too, so for you guys that plan to attend, stop by their booth and have a look. See if they're worth $100 or not.

I saw that the other day! Made me chuckle, but it'd work as an experimental platform or even just a beater :)

The reviews have looked somewhat decent.

It pisses me off a bit when they say it will be tuned, and stay in tune. Inexperienced people buy it and think they never have to tune it, as if it's a piano or something. I see ebay ads all the time that say "just tuned last year." I had people ask that about guitars I'm selling, like "has it been tuned?" or "will it arrive in tune?"

I must say I was shocked to pull my new Luna out of the box to find it nearly perfectly in tune despite the weather. But that is poor ad copy.

I kinda like that Les Paul.

my Peavey bass hasn't got more than a hair out of tune in something like 10 years.
can't say that for anything else I own, though

also, when you masturbate in the hospital while attached to a heart monitor, it scares the shit out of the nurses.
