I work with two guys named Eric. One is Eric M. the other is Eric B. and yes, we sometimes call them that.

Anyways, I go up to where Eric B. is working and ask him, "So, Eric B. where is Rakim?"

*blank stare from Eric B.*

I forget sometimes, he was probably in diapers when Eric B. & Rakim were big

I probably would've never heard of them either except for I was in the military from '88 to '94 and a few of my best friends there were huge hip-hop fans, which I hate for the most part. Eric B. & Rakim were huge, for a couple of years back then.
