I usually list stuff on reverb for a few weeks before I hit eBay. I am never in a big rush to sell though.

I generally sell gear when I have to. That is, when I see something that I can't live without and have to go into emergency sell off mode. So time is almost always a factor for me. Plus I just like to get it over with. I sell a tremendous amount of gear, but I really hate the process.
