What is Bill Paxton's best movie role? This popped into my head this morning while I was brushing my teeth. Bill Paxton seems to have sufficient acting depth to pretty much play Bill Paxton, yet the guy is in lots of movies, sometimes even as the lead. I realize we are voting for the best of the worst, but please tell us your best Bill Paxton movie role. He may be a great actor for all I know, but he seems to have a very limited range.

I liked him as the burn out space marine in Aliens and the feed salesman who found a pile of money in A Simple Plan.

Aliens is such a terrible movie that it doesn't even merit mentioning.
