Horny bag of electric meat
It's all about being in the right place at the right time. I found this yesterday at a pawn shop for $50. It needed a bit of cleanup. A pot was dead. But the switch was good. I replaced all the pots with CTS pots and installed a set of Rose alnico humbuckers. The neck on this is in great shape. It doesn't need a setup or fret work. Some of the early models of the F/T were mahogany. Later models were basswood. I think this one is mahogany.
Sorry. My photography skills aren't great. There is some glare from the flash. This won't replace the Heritage I had to sell. But this is a damn nice guitar for $50.
