Just got this email. I guess I'm free next week. I had 3rd row seats and was looking forward to this one.

Due to an injury suffered by ZZ Top's bass player, this event has been canceled.

Saw that too; they were going to play here also (although I wasn't planning on going because I'm lazy and worthless).

Beck is playing the next 3 nights only, then next week's shows are flat out cancelled. The shows after that are to be potentially rescheduled. My show was in the cancelled category. Oh well, maybe Jeff will pop up in a surprise show at a smaller venue around here. I wonder how much money a band, management, promoters, etc., lose when something like this happens...
 
That sucks.

Its very expensive when things like this happen so I'm sure they'll try to get the shows made up at a later date. When Zappa Plays Zappa got snowed out of one venue in Colorado last year they played an unscheduled show down the road to keep the cash flowing. Touring is expensive.
