Yes, I played pedal steel for a few months 10+ years ago, and I also play a little banjo. I also do a decent amount of hybrid/Travis picking on acoustic and electric. That plus 20 years of slide guitar in standard, open E, and open G tunings, I probably should have started this adventure a long time ago because a lot of the building blocks were already somewhat there.
