Question: Wait? What? Factory Rivera-era repro from factory "modded" dripedge-era repro Deluxe Reverb?

That may be snake oil, but it sounds amazing. Also, that first video w/Rivera talking was great.

Actually, that is what happens when all your 'innovation' ends up just trying to capture the sound of your vintage amps. For all the bells and whistles and amp modeling that have emerged I the past 20 years (and they have come up with some amazing sounding stuff), what guitar players want is what they delivered 45 years ago. So they are attempting to redeliver it today. The demand for the vintage amps far outstrips the supply so this kind of thing makes sense.
