Man I am not trading a neck pickup for neck dive. Hells no.

i had a 3 pickup 1964 and yea......neck dive for sure. unless you play the guitar with the neck joint at around your crotch.
same goes for SG's.
yea.....they're nice looking.....but actual playing, not so much.

Depends on the model. I have three Gibson SGs with the standard thin neck that stay upright. But I had an Epi with a thick neck and it was pretty bad about neck dive.

I like them, but I would really want neck binding. I've never played a firebird so I can't comment on the neck dive issue. My SG doesn't have this problem at all.
