HC Refugee
I have been selling some gear and upgrading for a whole new signal flow. Got two additional pieces yesterday and today. Just waiting for the Foals I ordered...but plenty to use until then.
So I replaced my HB 250W load/attenuator and Two Notes Torpedo CAB with The Two notes Reload II. Also got a new (used) though honestly, I don't know if anyone had actually used it before, the power cable was still in a sealed bag. So, Guitar goes into pedal board then into new amp speaker out to the Reload II, then line out to UA 710 pre-amp, then depending on how I patch with the patch bay, through a Lindell Audio Lintec ( a Pultec clone) then to a Lindell Lin76 ( 1076 clone ). then through a Warm Audio Wa-2a ( La-2 clone ). Then can patch in the UA Galaxy... this way I can use it on guitar signal or vocal signal. I am building a reverb pedal which will be patched right after the Galaxy.
So the new amp is the Bad Cat MOD shop edition Black Cat 30. Lord what a glorious sound. I have played through software emulations for a few years and I am telling you, they cannot touch this. The other thing interesting about this amp, it has the legacy script badge with the cat eyes ( prefer it or not ). I have never seen a picture of this amp that has that, all of them have the newer script badge. I even found the original pictures from the music store that originally sold this and this badge is on it. I reached out to them, and they said they had not put in a special order for this.
