"Tim Hortons is continuing its international expansion with plans to open its first full-service coffee shops in Great Britain."

First Tim Horton's shop was in Hamilton, Ontario.

Tim Horton was a hockey player.

He died in a car accident right around the corner from my house.
They found L.S.D. in the trunk of his car. Last Saturday's Doughnuts.

trust me, the last thing we need over here is another american style coffee place
Oh, and you're probably not going to like it unless you like cream and sugar in your coffee.
The cream has crack in it.

I drink my coffee black.

When I was in London in 2006, I saw a few Starbucks Coffee shops here and there.

When I went to England in 2014, they were everywhere.

Canadian elections last 8 weeks max, US elections never end...ever :zoinks:

Yeah, but we can have two in the same year. For the same office.

Joe Clark was elected and then his minority parliament collapsed. So we had another election.
His term lasted 273 days.

Good times.

Of course, that was 35 years ago and at the far end of the spectrum.

Even so, we'd basically have to have a federal election every single year in order to match America's campaign season, in terms of days counted. And, even then, I'm not fully confident that that would get the job done. But even if it did, the CBC would cover shit other than the election.
