Yeah, the alligator prints do absolutely nothing for me.

To be fair, there are very few solidbodies that I wouldn't say the same thing about.

Once you start getting in the $1200-1500 range, MIA Fenders and G&Ls can start getting pretty damned good. Of course we're getting 3x the price of a MIM Fender, but it's still half the cost of a Trussart.

one of the few not hot Trussarts I've seen.

Them's my thoughts too. I don't like the textured metal, it makes it look cheap, and the mismatching colors also seem to throw the whole thing off - visually.

But, I'd like to play it to hear it.

But I've seen plenty of other Trussarts that did make my heart do a bit of the ol' pitter pat.
