The price on this Martin 000-28 Eric Clapton Sig is very tempting, but it has two red flags.

  1. The price is too low. Less than half of retail. Stolen?
  2. This is the guitar's 2nd sale in 2 years. Is there something wrong with it?
I'm considering messaging the seller to try it, anyway. It's a really good price, and I've been eyeing Martins, both the D and 000 lines for a while, now. Hmmm...
 
I'd go check it out. Ask if you can get the last few digits of serial number for verification, then you could call the local shops and see if they've received any calls about stolen Martin EC's.

Be aware that it has a honkin' V-neck. Very nice little finger style guitar though.
