Tom Strahle shares a day in the life tracking guitars in his home studio setup.

Great as always.

Remember when some of you guys thought I was pulling your zucchini when I said you would all be shocked at how many major,multi-platinum selling records were recorded using cheap, run of the mill guitars and amps?

Further proof that you don't need a genuine '62 Strat and a Dumble to sound like a pro.

Most pros I know can't afford a '62 strat and a Dumble

I have the same 1964 SIlvertone 1484 amp that Tom is using in the video and it was interesting how it was used about as much as the Suhr Badger 30. It wasn't "worse" or "cheaper", just different. Best $200 I've ever spent I think.

wow that was a great video... nice to know excellence doesnt have to cost a million bucks... i think the logic and the duet were probably the big dollar items there...
