To go with your $90 capo

I just can't imagine a wood pick would hold up very well.

I use finger/thumb picks - the finger picks are about $2.00 each and the thumb picks are about a buck apiece. They don't get lost as easily as regular picks, though, and I get a lot of wear from them.
 
I have a number of Stoneworks picks. I only like the ones that are on the thinner side. The edges are beautifully beveled and they glide over the strings. They are incredibly slick in texture, but strangely the rough textured picks (like Brainpicks) fly out of my hand, and these don't. Pics to follow.
