I had to move all but one of the guitars out of the room for this.

there are another couple hundred figures packed away, that I won't be able to put out till I buy some more shelves.
and there's other odd bits here and there throughout the house

    not quite, on either.
a tad older, and a tad more experienced.
though it's been long enought that I think I forget how.

plus, all my stuff's opened, thereby killing 99% of resale value;)

except for the rare vintage stuff, that is.

I still have some stuff from my actual childhood (not just this one)

Baimun's turned his back on the hobby, as far as I know.
    he's dead to me.

    ;)

    he talks.

and I'm the only one who can hear him...

If I weren't married, I'd probably end up living in a room like that.

    Fortunately, I'm married.

it's a darn fine guitar for the price, but the electronics in mine are being goofy.
there's a LOT of crackle when I move the mid-range slider.
    so I don't move it.

    which is fine, really.

    plays right noce though.
gotta change the strings on it, they're they factory originals...and I've had it a year or so.:weebz:
I have the spare set right here, had 'em a while, actually.
but I loathe changing strings on anything with those damn pegs.

    been there twice.
    both are collectors too.
I might have kinda made them that way.;)
in fact, the 1st one and her fella are coming to pick me up so's I can get to our gig on the 13th.

this is just one of the upstairs bedrooms, btw.
the whole house doesn't look like this.
though I wouldn't have any issues it doing so.

I did it all kinda backwards..... I started out playing in bands and having lots of sex.... then I settled down and got married with kids.

THEN.... after being married for a few years, instead of going through a mid-life crisis and buying a motorcycle or something, I started up a second childhood and collected toys and comics. :jj:

I was actually an action figure dealer of sorts... buying and selling... until I started to run out of room (a spare bedroom with cases of figures from floor to ceiling, the width of the room, several cases deep is a bit much. :p )

I sold them all in one fell swoop to a collector in Ohio, made several grand on the deal.... and bought my first PRS.

Now you know the rest of the story.
