I really want a Korina Flying V. A Gibson, not a Reverend. But even the 80’s reissues are $5-$6k. And I do not want an Epiphone. Guess that’s on the “after I win the lottery” punch list. :(

I don’t know about all the Epi variants but the Korina V that a friend owned briefly was a laminated body. Dunno if the core was Korina or something else. It was nothing like the solid Korina Gibsons I’ve played..then again the price reflected that.

Current Epi Korina Vs are getting great reviews, so Epi Korina V - stock pickups + '57 Classics/SD Seths/DM 36ths = win ~ $900, no?
