Interesting idea, but I think it would work better as a pedal builder's prototype tool rather than something that one would put together and use on a board.

And, for prototyping, you can build one in a computer with very similar building blocks but simulated and run signal through it.

This line:

makes me think that this will be a repeat of Devi Ever Console system, and that they’ll end up with less money than they need for the design, much less production costs.
