If you've played a Seagull it doesn't feel like that. :embarrassed:

One thing I've gotta give to Godin... the satin finished neck feels great.

A Seagull isn't marketed as an electric guitar. It's marketed as an acoustic guitar with electric capabilities.

If you break the Godin lines into their product names it makes more sense.

Seagull has a wider neck than the Simon and Patricks who have a different profile than the Normans which are different than the Godin electrics.

On the Godin side, I've had a Session and a Kingpin. They were pretty different beasts.
The Session had a mid size tele neck. More D than C at the shoulders.

The Kingpin felt more like a Gibson Acoustic, but flatter.

Honestly, the Kingpin wasn't my cuppa, as much as I liked the sound.
The Session got sold when I hit an unemployed stretch, but it was hard to see it go.

So who can tell me about the Godin neck carve? Nobody at TGP can articulate why they don't like it, only that they don't. Which, to me, is a non-answer.
on my 5th Ave., I found the neck to be too thin, and I didn't care for the satin finish. no clue as to whether it's the same on this model.

C. None of the above.
