Gig Spam The Portable Forest debuts!

The Portable Forest takes the stage for the first time this Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 8pm. We're at Gussy's in Astoria, 20-14 29th St. $10 cover.

Take the N train to Ditmars Blvd. Walk west on Ditmars to 29th St. Make a right and walk two blocks north to the venue.

If you don't hear from me, you'll see me at the show.

Lol. Astoria, NYC. Named after the Astor family (yes, that Astor family) in a vein attempt to get them to invest in the area. They never set one foot in Queens.

I'm on guitar and vocals. So not only is this the band debut, but it's my first time on lead vocals since college.

as ya probably know, I ain't a fan of PRS, but I do like that one.

There's kinda nothing to dislike about it. The flametop is hidden under the goldtop, it doesn't have ridiculous inlays or extras, and it cost less than a comparable Gibson.
