I recorded this last week:
Tonight, I've finally had a chance to go electric. Tele tuned CGCGCE (just like in the video) -> Pitchfactor -> Quasar -> Pickle Drive -> Deluxe Memory Boy -> Allen Encore.
I actually had everything going at one time, which was pretty cool. But I scaled it back and have the Pickle Drive at low gain and the EHX basically doing nothing that the Echorec couldn't do. And it's way more powerful.
Yeah, I use effects. I think @Scott_Abene is still looking at my board pic in disgust (
). But it's not about how many effects you use, or using them all at every opportunity. It's all about placement. Though I'm probably sure someone will say I use too much delay when I finally get to record the electric clip.
