The Miata's getting a new top!

Duller than cardboard
When I bought the car last January it was obvious the top needed to be replaced. There were a couple of spots that were starting to come apart at the seams, and by the end of the summer — and hundreds of times folding the top up and down — it was toast.

So I dropped it off yesterday and I get to pick it up in about an hour or so. I'm out a grand — not too bad, considering.

Emerald Mica Green with a brand new tan top is going to look pretty slick. Pics to follow.

Robbins?

Friend of mine has a '94 w/ the panoramic rear window and it's pretty decent.

Not sure of the brand. It's a factory duplicate — heated glass and the folded seam over the rear window.

Just got the car back. The top is indeed a Robbins. Looks to be very high quality and short of a new paint job I can't imagine a bigger cosmetic improvement I could make. I didn't realize how tired the old one looked until I saw the new one an hour ago.
