The Mark Wein Jazz AOTD

I can make some suggestions later today. What you don't see in social media is when I need to learn a specific tune I buy every good version of that tune on iTunes to study.

What are "Forumites who don't appreciate good Brazilian Fusion" for $1000, Alex.

If you think that's good, then your name is on the board.

I'd call that playing sophomoric, but it would be an insult to freshmen.

You do realize that's why I put a " " in there...

I know Kiko Loureiro isn't a great jazz guitarist by any means. But for a guy that probably spends 95% of his time playing and practicing metal, I don't think he did too badly on that album 'Universo Inverso' (the name is even a nod to that video you posted). I enjoy listening to it, anyways :embarrassed:

Just think if Bill Frisell were to try and do a Megadeth or Angra style album. It would probably sound horrible, just saying'. And no, I'm not saying BF is a bad guitarist.

Anyways, I've probably ruined Mark's jazz thread enough as it is. Sorry Mark :(

I thought that's how they were supposed to sound like?

IDK. I think you're underestimating him.
