Son of Johnny Otis (Willie and the Hand Jive?), played on Al Koopers 2nd Super Sessions album,
Played Bass for Frank Zappa's track "Peaches en Regalia" from the album Hot Rats (1969), played Electric guitar for Mos Def's track "Blue Black Jack" from the album The New Danger (2004).and was once asked to join the Rolling Stones:

Johnny Otis had a TV show, I think, back in the '70's, and I remember Shuggie, still a kid, playing with T-Bone Walker on "Stormy Monday", no less, and just killing it. Killing it.
Every so often, I go on a hunt for a recording of that show, but so far, no luck.
