Apparently he demoed Joe's board on YouTube before Joe even got it. I wonder if the video you posted above is like that in that it's an unauthorized demo.

I read an interview with Bonamassa a few years ago and the guy seemed like a dick. I have never listened to a thing he has played because of that interview.
I don't think he means to be a dick. I think he's just socially awkward and possibly even on the autism spectrum (like Asperger Syndrome or something on that end of the spectrum, since he's so focused and socially awkward).
