I found a cool Chinese eBay seller who deals in tube electronics. Lots of tube overdrives, preamps, and heads in clear acrylic cases. Sam Ash Stores has an in-store sale going on this weekend, where there are several discounts on just about everything $499 and higher. What caught my eye (and almost my CC rolleyes1 ) was that they had the 2014 Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker marked down to $499, with very large tags that had the $100 discount, SO that makes them $399:
These are pretty sweet (as @ellengtrgrl can attest). I have a 2014 LPJ that is sweet as can be, and these are fantastic. I played one yesterday through several Vox amps, and almost walked out with one...can't do it, though, as I have something else on the way
... and don't forget, these are the last of the cheap Gibby satins, for at least a year
