The Friday Thread 2:Electric Boogaloo!!!

I have been in an unusual and exceptionally bad mood, mainly caused by immediate family forces :annoyed:.

Tomorrow, going to the Chicago Auto Show with the SIL.

Opening day :facepalm:.

At least I will have practical reasons for attending. Also gonna meet the daughter for linner :)

Went to the range to zero irons on my latest AR build. This is 100 yards. I'm happy.

Worked and then went and saw Don Felder at the casino.
He and the band were great. I wanted to punch the sound guy in the head with a truck.

We had a really good meal in an Italian restaurant that is in the same area as the food court but has "indoor" seating.
It must have been family night - as in all of the owner's family was in for dinner.
We felt like we were in a Good Fellas scene with Joe Pesci dropping f bombs every second word. It was kind of surreal.
I'd go back for the food, but if there were family in, I'd eat out in the food court area for the peace and quiet.
 
I've now spent over two hours sitting in the waiting room at the FBO. Be here at least another half hour. Then 45 minutes on a snow and sleet covered interstate. My Friday sucks.
 
I had a broken molar extracted Tuesday and I'm still in pain!

Tday - still recovering from my angiogram a little bit. feel much better than yesterday but I had to sub out my gig tonight. I need to make a trip to GC this morning and lunch with Mrs W

Saturday - back to work, lunch with my step sister and then gig at Roscoes Deli in Fullerton. Because I can't life anything over 10 lbs with my right hand for a week I'm trying my "B rig" with the small pedalboard and Deluxe Reverb - the Suhr is 70lbs and the Deluxe is light enough that I can lift it with my left hand alone.

Sunday - chill
 
Took an easy ride in this morning's perfect weather.
Mrs. T's doctor/boss bought us tickets to Saturday's Astros game against the Red Sox.
Maybe a little salt water fishing Sunday morning.

It was amazing this morning. I had to get a run in, even though by the time I finished running errands, it was getting pretty warm out.

But I put a serious hurt on my to-do list. The rest of the day is for cooking and music. Got jerk chicken marinating in the fridge and Dead (7-9-77) on the stereo.

The rest of the weekend will be for more cooking, a little cleaning, running and golf.

I'm already in bed and bored. Tomorrow is cleaning and then The Pink House in Savannah for dinner. Sunday is work at 5am. This sucks.

Leaving work early today since I have run out of hours I can charge this week. :facepalm:

No special plans. Hopefully I will get some guitar playing in, both acoustic and electric.
