Today - just work stuff and father-in-laws b-day dinner.

Tomorrow - work and gig at the Blue Beet.

Today - work and then off to see the band play the casino. It's a good gig for them in terms of easy cash, but the vibe really sucks. It's a full stage setup but it's located in the middle of the casino flor without any real reason for being there. So, people just wander by headed to the next slot machine. It's always a two-day gig and they don't have to load out in between.

Saturday - going to see Joe Walsh in Windsor ON.

Sunday - thinking about waiting in line for the pre-sale for STYX in December. Other than that, driving home from Windsor and whatever that may entail.

Working. Trying to end this shit fest week on a positive note. I'm glad I was able to get great tickets to the Dave Rawlings Machine concert. This and the humor you guys provided me have been a life ring to keep me afloat.
 
Going furniture hunting tomorrow for a new man-o-the-house recliner chair. Shouldn't be too painful since I already know pretty much what I want.

The rest of the time I will listen to music, work on straightening out the house, cook a monster brisket, maybe watch some football.

Definitely won't watch baseball. :facepalm:
 
Taking my wife to the airport then I'm on dog duty until Tuesday.

Hoping for a long bike ride Sunday but it's supposed to be smoking hot here on Sunday (100F), so maybe just continue to work on my finger style practice
 
Headed up to the Air Races in Reno tomorrow to see my uncle. He works at an aeromotive shop up in Idaho that rebuilds these crazy engines. Bonus time: my cousin and his family will be there as well.

Might have to go by Cabelas, too, if there's time :grin:

Wedding gig on Sunday - rehearsal for such tomorrow. Some other stuff going on..it'll be very busy.
 
I want to see The Martian this weekend. It might be tough to schedule though.

Other than that, the usual chores around the house, music, golf, watch sports.
 
Dad's driving down from Idaho today. Gonna stay overnight, load up his PTO mower, and drive home.

Possibly pick up another load of hay (alfalfa this time, woo!), roast some coffee, build goat shelters out of PVC and tarps, build goat shelters out of pallets, probably HULKSMASH some stuff, move some sand from the arena to the newly-located round pen, and whatever else the boss says it priority of the moment.
 
For now I'm doing some light cleaning and heavy Dead listening. Later watch huge MLB playoff action.

Tomorrow, massive 80th birthday party for mom. Hopefully all those old people won't get crazy and trash our house. o_O

Sunday, clean the house, bury the bodies. Golf practice and watch more Astros victory.
 
Star party (hopefully) tomorrow night, then wife has a craft fair on Sunday. I'm sure there's ranch work to be done (there's always ranch work), and I'm going to drink as much Oktoberfest-styled beer as I can without catching flak. Oh, and my cousin is trying to get his house all packed up for a move, so I might try to help him out too.

Mostly I'm tired of adulting, and could use an entire day off from the ordeal. I guess my trip to the air races was a day off, but that involved lots of driving, which is part of adulting. Meh.

I have to work tomorrow, and then I'll probably just putter around the house...

Sunday morning will probably involve more puttering until it's time to leave for my lunch date...

Today, no work assignment, so I got caught up on admin stuff. Picked up groceries. Eating a healthy lunch. Gonna putter around the house. Watch the Cubs and Blackhawks games tonight.

Saturday - Was going to get our siding replaced, but the company called and rescheduled for Tuesday. Sounds good to me; maybe I can get some outside worrk done, but then the wife wants me to go with her to take the dog to a free obedience class. Will watch Cubs and Blackhawks again.

Sunday - No plans; maybe go with the family to Starved Rock or something.

Monday - off.

There will be some guitarin' in there somewhere...
 
Work today. I'm going to try and swap a starter motor relay int the NewYorker at lunch time. The weather is decent today. Cold, but no rain.
Going to see the band tonight. I might try to finish off a couple of pedals for the guys before we go.

I don't think we have anything scheduled for the weekend.
 
Work today, but I'm leaving early, and as soon as Mrs. Roach gets her butt home from school we are driving to Georgetown, TX to visit friends and play golf. We may make a side trip to a hifi shop in Austin (daddy needs a new pair of speakers). Come home Sunday afternoon, if time permits I need to work with my stereo to fine-tune the subwoofer.
