The difference between a $5K and a $150 guitar

To my ears (through the Logitech 5.1 speaker system on my home desktop rig) the $150 acoustic sounds fine, but maybe a little thinner. There's a thicker, richer clarity to the Martin that's very sweet. Does it sound $4350 better? Not to my ears, but it definitely does sound better.

The use of factory slave labor in Asia really helps keep the price low, as does the lack of any regulations as to what kind of wood 'mahogany' and 'spruce' actually are.
