I really like how the neck seems to transition into much more of a soft-v at the 9th fret. Not to mention how rich that tone is.
 
The guitar sounded wonderful on the American Acoustic tour. I bet the guitar is magical, but I'd be fine playing low-end laminate guitars for a 10th of Julian's ability. The instruments are unimportant in his hand.
