Cool! I wonder what other bone Mercedes threw Williams. There was talk that their first offer was to give Williams engines at half price, which Williams rejected. I'm sure they're not just giving Bottas away.

Believe their follow up was pretty much equal to Williams' entire engine bill.

He would go the entire season without making it past turn one. That would be quite a record... a dubious one, but a record.
 
Looks like Massa's return to Williams is a done deal. As Gorgon90 said, Williams is essentially getting free engines next year for letting Bottas go.
