Teachers- Quarter hour or half-hour?

For the past three years I've been teaching based on the half-hour but when I reschedule in the fall I'm going to move to the quarter. That will let me fit in one more lesson right after students let out of school. Most of the other teachers here run on the half-hour, but I have enough students that running by 15 will really help me out.

It means starting at 2:15 instead of 2:30.

I run on the 1/2 hour but sometimes I think that the :15 and :45 times might allow students to more easily fit a lesson into their already hectic day.

don't know why, but if lessons start like 10 after or even 20 after, the lessons seem to go much faster, it's probably the same with teaching guitar, I would think and in a way it's easier on the parents travel time to the school
