Talk to me about Ibanez Roadstars

While traveling, I encountered a used Ibanez Roadstar II (made in Japan) for $350. Geez, it was nice, and it avoided the pointy/shredder aesthetic that turns me away from many Ibby solid-bodies.

What should one know about them? Is $350 a good price for that guitar?

Great guitar, $350 for a good example is a STEAL! it's a Fuji Gen built beast, just like the MIJ Fenders of the period. Very well built, very comfortable to play, and very versatile. I'd have jumped on one at that price.

I guess that the only thing that you should know is that a lot of them were simply fantastic guitars.

$350 is a steal but I would still talk them down to $300.

My first electric was a Roadstar II. It was a fine guitar.

It's a great deal. My first "real" bass was a Roadstar. I had it for over 25 years. I regret selling it.

I have a '73 Ibanez Tele copy that's a great guitar but has super small fretboard dimensions. Anyone remember if theRoadstar is a bit more normally spaced?
