The woman hasn't performed live since 1979 and the press is running out of adjectives to describe how awesome last night's show (the first of 22) was.

Surely this will see video release, don't you think? I'd sure like to see it.

She recorded an album a couple of years ago. The high end and vocal gymnastics from her early years aren't there, but she's still great.

Several of the reviews mentioned key changes for some songs, and she did nothing off her first four albums. She's just lost a little upper range, that's all. It happens to the best of us when you're signed at 16 years old.

The review I read earlier said it was fantastic, if a little weird. However they also said she didnt play anything from her earlier career.

Her first four releases were all seriously high vocal performances. She would probably have to drop them two full steps. But I would have wanted to hear stuff off The Kick Inside and The Dreaming at least if I was there.

And I wish they were recording a DVD as well. I can't believe they are not except that Kate probably said no........
