Summer Triangle/Milky Way

Canon 350d piggybacked on the Omni XLT. Motors running, 6 - 30 sec exposures @ ISO 800. I think. Should have done a dark frame or two. Stacked in DSS, levels/curves in PS CS2. Image taken 10' from my garage.

BTW, this camera (with the kit lens) is a bitch to focus in the dark.

I use DeepSkyStacker and it does admirably with the default settings. Just select your light frames, dark frames, etc, and tell it to go.

I think tonight I'm gonna hook up the laptop and do some longer exposures along with darks and flats.
