Perhaps but the Dr. Z has a cooler name, so that's the winner for me. It's also $400 cheaper than the Suhr and doesn't have wood paneling from a 1979 Jaguar XJS.The answer to the Dr Z M12???

I was just giving mark a hard time, Suhrly you know I was jokingI like clean single channel amps. Then I like to add the dirt of my choice to that amp. This amp fills a certain niche in the market. Still, I have a 6L6 based amp, so I'd rather have a Dr Z anyway. Which I would run clean with pedals.
