Stroopwafel!

These are my jam!

The whole foods around the corner from my office has a in-store baked cookie section & make a damn good stroopwafel. Every other Friday I'll grab lunch from their hot bar and these are the highlight of my trip. Buttery gooey caramelish filling with a hint of cinnamon. I've had the ones from a box/bag and they're no where near as soft and tasty.

Yeah, I'm always disappointed by the boxed ones. I bet a fresh one would be nice.

I made the horrible mistake of leaving NYC and have not had access to Streepwafels for two years. Guess I have to try Whole Foods.

They are actually from the Netherlands, and I grew up with them. They are best freshly made at the market, when they are still warm

tip: Switch the toaster on and lay the stroopwafel on the top for 30 seconds... OOOOH YEAHHHHH!!!!!

Had them over in Holland. Holland, and cheese, and bakeries, were not great for the diet. At least we were bicycling.
